Goals

My temporary goals:

1. Learn to play the harmonica.

2. Go running a few times a week.

3. Play more tennis.

4. Memorize songs on the guitar and play more often.

5. Learn to crochet different stitches. (I know, very nerdy but oh well. lol)

Like a wise man once said, "Write it down. Written goals have a way of transforming wishes into wants; cant's into cans; dreams into plans; and plans into reality. Don't just think it - ink it!"
Hopefully they are right!

California!

My family and I had a week vacation to Carlsbad, CA! We went to the beach, played at Legoland, went to an aquarium, and hung out! Here are some pictures!

LEGOLAND:

These are all made from legos... pretty impressive! I think that would be a fun job!

MY FAVORITE PICTURE FROM THE WHOLE TRIP!

Goodbye vacation, hello life...

Now my summer has calmed down a lot and I'm occasionally working at State Farm as a secretary and doing summer school. On my spare time I like to hangout with my friends, family, and my boyfriend (Aaron)! Aaron graduated from his first improv class yesterday! He did a great job in his classes' performance!

Missionaries are leaving left and right lately!
My good friend Joey Gamez left yesterday to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in New Jersey! This is at his potluck/ party before he left. Joey became a good friend while at ASU and I am grateful for him being such a great home teacher and friend. He will be an amazing missionary!

Utah!

At the end of May I was able to go to Utah to visit family and go see my sister, Alex, graduate high school! We had a fun-filled week with many fun and exciting adventures. So I will take you through a few of them that have been documented with pictures...

1) Alex's Graduation:
These are my siblings on the Jones side of the family. (minus Addison)2) One of the highlights of the week was OATMEALING! I don't blame you for not knowing what that is... I was just recently introduced. This is the perfect activity for those days where you are just aimlessly driving around town with a group of people, trying to figure out what to do. What you need: Oatmeal, water, a car, and a driver. What to do: Put oatmeal in your mouth, swish it around with water, and when you are at a good distance away from a car to where they can see you, pretend to throw up out of the window!! hahaha! It is so much fun and very entertaining! It's hilarious to watch people's reactions. So there's a random activity to try out sometime! :)
3) This is our friend Cameron Pruett, who is now serving in the Peru Trujillo Mission.
Our last time hanging out with the Camerons'! We had a fun time playing at the park!
This is one of the games that my familiy has basically made a traditon to play and to teach people. This is a very entertaining group game for people that are looking to have a good time and be goofs! KOOM-CHA! (This actually is an organized game, even though it looks like caos!)

4) Hike to the "C" on Cedar City mountain:

Me, my dad, and Lex on the hike

Finally made it! :)

5) Going to view sites with the sister and grandparents!

Kickin' off the summer.

My first week off of school has now been completed! During this week break I have been able to reunite with friends and hang out with the family. Not too much has changed besdies a lot of my guy friends are gone on missions now and my little sister Anna is constantly growing. This is my (almost 5 year old) sister Anna and I. She makes me look like a ghost with her tan skin! >>>

I'm still trying to unpack my things that I brought over from the dorm, it is quite a pain considering I don't know where to put anything. By the time I finish that project it will be time to move back to Tempe for school.

I went swimming for the first time this summer in my pool earlier on this week! It was nice! Then my friends Elise and Spencer came over and we had our traditional pool basketball game... Elise and I versus Spencer. (It's completely fair.) This is the 4th summer in a row that we have carried on this tradition. By the way, the girls won! haha!

<--This is Lexi (my 16 year old sister) and myself jamming out! I'm playing the harmonica and Lex is singing along! Wonderful combination!Aaron gave me a harmonica not too long ago, so I'll be practicing that over the summer.

  • -I am leaving to Cedar City tomorrow! I can't wait to hang out with the family again! It has been 6 months since we have visited the family!
These are a couple picture that my friends and I took together! We are going to send some out to all of our friends that are on missions for our church all around the world, just to let them know we're thinking about them! These are some great ladies!

Hello there!

Welcome to my blog! Honestly, I don't really know what to say or do with it... but I have one now and I intend to update it every now and then so my family and friends can be up to speed with what I'm doing in life. I already keep a pretty regular journal so I don't plan on spilling my heart out on here or anything like that. (Sorry if I do, who knows how into this I'll get.) lol.

Well today was my last day of my freshman year in college! Hallelujah! Now I just need to finish packing up my dorm room because today I am moving back home for the summer... goodbye freedom! Overall I have enjoyed ASU and living on campus. Classes are kind of a drag, but I have been able to meet a ton of people and have a lot of fun experiences. Oh and I guess I have learned a few things too. (just kidding) I have learned a lot of things, inside and outside of the classroom.

I am way excited to being going to Cedar City, UT to visit family pretty soon! My sister Alex will be graduating from high school! CRAZY!! After hanging out with the family for a little while I will be heading back to Peoria to start summer school and attempting to find a job. Oh boy! Well that's my update for now! Bye! :)
